Omega Home Inspection is a fully insured (E&O/Gen Liability), BBB accredited (A+ Rating), Veteran-owned small business. Owner Oscar San Luis is an experienced inspector and has been awarded the Certified Master Inspector title by the Certification Board of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). He is dedicated to providing buyers, homeowners, and realtors thorough 400-point home inspections they can count on. He is also certified with the American Home Inspector Training Institute (AHIT), using the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Standards of Practice – the oldest and most reputable standards in the home inspection industry.
Oscar is a 23-year US Air Force veteran and was assigned to various Civil Engineering units in the US and overseas. He spent his career as a Construction Manager, responsible for the daily inspections of hundreds of millions of dollars in construction and renovation of family housing, dormitories, administrative and maintenance facilities, aircraft hangars, roadways and all types of underground utilities.
During his career, Oscar participated in all aspects of the design and construction, including daily inspections of the actual construction to project completion. He worked closely with architects and engineers and gained in-depth knowledge of the construction industry. He also holds college degrees in architecture and construction technology.
Oscar has worked closely with building contractors to ensure construction was performed according to approved drawings and specifications. He ensured building codes, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire, safety and environmental requirements were met.
He was also a member of the Damage Assessment Team, a first responder unit responsible for evaluating extent of damage to buildings after natural disaster such as earthquakes, hurricanes and other catastrophic events.
